I train 5 times per week with 2 days of rest. I teach Body Pump twice per week which I love as it’s great hypertrophy exercise for muscle toning. My third weight training for the week is a strength training programme to challenge the muscles which involves increasing weights and lowering reps (squats, deadlifts, bench press and pull ups) finished off with strong man training to challenge the heart rate. In between those days I do two days of cardio. One involves spin for 45 mins followed by a 20 min run at 65-70% heart rate and core and flexibility work. The other is a 30min interval session working at 85% heart rate to burn up the calories finished with core and glute work. |
