Achieving the cover of Men’s Health for the first time; A lifelong ambition!
Aspirations / Goals
My main aspiration when I first started training was always to get on the cover of Men’s Health. Now that I have achieved this and am due to appear on the cover for a second time this year, I have other goals. I would like to get a degree in Nutrition and will be starting an Open University course later this year.
CLA Ultralean 1000. I believe this to be one of the most underrated supplements around. It helps to burn fat but also prevents loss of strength during heavy dieting. This is so beneficial for me because I am constantly trying to stay as lean as possible whilst maintaining a high level of performance when training.

Sporting Hero
Arnold Schwarzenegger. I admire his attitude and approach to training and perspective on life. Go and make it happen attitude.
Brief biography
I was born in Merseyside but grew up in Morrsiton, Swansea, South Wales. I attended Morriston Comprehensive school and Cardiff University where I studied Radiography. I currently live in London and work as a fulltime model.
I have always been a very keen sportsman and gained representative honors in football, swimming and athletics. Competitively I excelled in football and swimming. I represented the county and played semi professionally football until I was 25, and I was nationally ranked in the 100m and 200m backstroke.
I first started weight training when I was 17 years old to gain strength and power for the sports I was interested in. As my swimming career came to an end I was able to place more of an emphasis on my gym training and developing my physique. Due to my keen interest in sport as a youngster I have the ability to train hard to see results. I also realised that supplements would play a key part in achieving my goal.
In the summer of 2005, I was crowned Mr Europe by Jockey underwear in an international modeling competition (Munich, Germany). After finishing University this propelled me into modeling and by the autumn of the same year I was working in places such as London, New York, San Francisco, Texas, Florida, Switzerland and Austria. In March 2007 I shot the first of my Men’s Health covers and was named the Face of international clothing brand Abercrombie and Fitch with my younger brother David. We also shot the spring summer campaign for the brand. Recently I have shot the cover of Men’s Health and the cover of Men’s Fitness which will be released in the next few months.
