Festive Hot Apple Cinnamon Protein Smoothie

OK... We admit that it's not mulled wine!

But we promise that this Christmas-inspired festive hot apple cinnamon protein smoothie will go down a treat after a hardcore workout on a cold night!

LOADED WITH APPLE FIBRE + ANTI-OXIDANTS.

Ingredients:

1 cored apple (diced)
2 tablespoons raisins
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
2 tablespoons pecan nuts
1 serving vanilla ULTRA WHEY™ PROTEIN

Make your smoothie:

− Place the diced apple, raisins, cinnamon and 1/2 cup water in a saucepan and heat-up gradually for few minutes until the apples soften. Leave for 2-3 minutes and then transfer to a blender.
− Add the pecan nuts and protein powder and blend until smooth and creamy.
− Pour into a large mug and drink – no need to sing Christmas carols, unless that's your style!
