Recipe: Jelly protein mousse

The classic 'street food' mouse is back with a protein-infused twist and milk-derived carbs that makes it a great post-workout snack. It's fast, easy and tastes like your favourite school dinner dessert......

MILK-CARBS FOR MUSCLE ENERGY
FAST ACTING OR MULTI-PHASE PROTEIN
IDEAL POST-WORKOUT DESSERT

Ingredients:

1 packet gelatine* (*or enough to make a 300ml liquid)
300ml evaporated milk (chilled!)
2 scoops ULTRA WHEY™ PROTEIN or GRS 9-HOUR® PROTEIN (any flavour)

Mix it up:

- Mix the gelatine with 300ml of hot water (as per packs' instructions)
- Let the jelly cool but not set
- Put evaporated milk in a shaker and add the protein powder (shake well)
- Pour the shaker mix into the jelly and whisk for 5 minutes until frothy
- Transfer the mix into desert bowls and chill for 2-3 hours until set
