    Background Information:

    I was born and raised in Russia – I came to London in 2005 to study and then had an offer to join one of the European Airlines based in the UK. Fitness was always a part of my adult life but on a non-professional level. I started taking it more seriously 2 years ago and signed up for WBFF where I placed 3rd in the Diva Bikini Model Category.

    How long have you been in the fitness industry?

    I’m new in the industry but aim to stay and make a difference.

    Achievements:

    Placed 3rd in the WBFF Diva Bikini Model May 2015 my only competition experience to date.

    Interests:

    Working in the airline industry allows me to travel the world! I love exploring new countries but mostly meeting different people and understanding their fascinating traditions, history and culture. I enjoy learning other languages in order to truly understand each nation’s mentality and character.

    Top tips to getting into fitness:

    I have never had any professional help with my training or nutrition plans. I believe if you really want to achieve something then nothing will stop you. Of course, the help from a good coach can speed up the process, but if for whatever reason you can’t get a coach, do not despair!

    Self-educate and go get your dream body. This will give you confidence, once you have that, all doors are open for you!

    Diet Tips

    Keep a flexible “diet” – it has to be enjoyable and turned into a lifestyle rather than temporary diet plan.

    I do have a few “golden rules”…

    1. Avoid highly processed unhealthy foods, sauces, refined sugar and table salt.

    2. Drink a lot of water.

    3. Listen to your body.

    4. Eat when you’re hungry and avoid “social eating” (when everyone eats and you have to whether you’re hungry or not).

    5. Variety is the key – Allow yourself treats, but know the limit.

    Training Tips

    I work out 4-6 times a week depending on my workload. I wouldn’t train for longer than 1 hour and I do a combination of resistance training and cardio.

    Top Tips:

    1. Stay consistent!

    2. Don’t punish yourself for missing a workout, instead focus on getting back on track asap.

    3. Experiment, learn new ways to exercise.

    4. Keep your body guessing.
